We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join Luna. This role is crucial for providing administrative support to our People Operations Department, ensuring smooth operation and efficient communication within the team. Your duties will include managing confidential materials, coordinating pre-hire and onboarding activities, maintaining our Employee Handbook, and supporting our recognition programs and events.

How you will have an impact

  • Coordinate pre-hire and onboarding activities, including New Hire Orientation (NHO).
  • Update and maintain the Employee Handbook, ensuring it complies with company policies and regulations.
  • Partner with the People Operations Team to organize and coordinate company recognition programs and events.
  • Administer required training protocols for new hires and current employees.
  • Track and maintain employee data in People Operations systems.
  • Assist with guiding employees through various People Operations processes under the direction of leadership.
  • Compile and update organizational information and reporting using People Operations systems.
  • Coordinate weekly new hire desk builds and installations with the Operations Admin and vendor; assist with workstation assignments and configuration as needed.
  • Maintain and update the People Operations knowledge page with relevant information and resources.
  • Assist with ad-hoc People Operations projects.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

What you can offer Luna
  • Must be based in Rocklin, CA or able to comfortably Commute
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience is required, with a strong preference to candidates with People Ops/HR admin experience
  • A proactive, resourceful, and self-driven work ethic with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high sense of urgency
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • The aptitude to manage numerous time-sensitive requests and can identify points of escalation when necessary
  • Proficient with Google Suite or MS Suite
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change within a rapidly growing organization
  • Strong professional judgment sense to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Track record of exceptional customer service and passionate about providing a wonderful experience to our employees
